| Anglican Youth Fellowship
ANGLICAN YOUTH FELLOWSHIP (age 13 & up): The Anglican Youth Fellowship (AYF) meets each Sunday at 9:00am from September through May. This ministry continues our endeavor of spiritual formation by directing these young Christians toward Christ. Indeed the ministry is Christ centered and provides opportunity for spiritual growth. An important part of this spiritual growth is fellowship. To that end, the AYF gathers regularly throughout the year to simply to pray, hang-out, have fun with other Anglican Youth. For example, we try to provide exciting side events like barbecues, movies, skating, bowling, as well as other opportunities to talk about all kinds of things--stuff that's going on at school, Church, with your family or around the world--and what God and being Anglican Catholic has to do with it all. As a way to offer more opportunities for the youth of our community to live out the gospel of service and justice, we plan a sort of "service project", in a variety of areas, aimed at serving the needs of our community and beyond. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ YOUNG ANGLICAN'S: (Children through age 13): Our Young Anglicans (YA's) meets at 9:00am each Sunday from September through May to experience the spiritual formation through the ministry of The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Additionally, they gather regularly for games, food, music, prayer. So one could say that Youth Ministry at St. John's is both about having fun and fellowship and Christian Formation by encouraging our youth to continue to develop their relationship with God by attending attending AYF or YA's each Sunday Morning and to worship at Sunday Eucharist. We are committed to make every effort to facilitate Christian Formation and offer encouragement to our youth. The Young Anglican's of St. John's Anglican Church held a Mid-Winters Night Party on March 10, 2007. Many came in their PJ's with pillows and blankets in hand and partook in games, crafts, food, and a movie. The excitement started at 5:30 in the evening, concluding at 8:00pm. Pizza was served and of course popcorn too. A great time was had by all. This group gathered in February to make Valentine Cards which were delivered to shut-in's
